Happy Birthday Scooby Doo is the twenty-seventh episode of Season 3 of Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. This is the first musical episode of this series.

Premise[]

It's Scooby Doo's birthday! And they recap every mystery they have solved every year and every day. Including the disambiguation of themselves and funny moments. This involves no monsters, no culprits and no suspects.

Neil Patrick Harris is the guest star.

Synopsis[]

This starts where the sun is shining and Scooby woke up from his nap, goes downstairs and to the backyard. Concerned, Scooby says, "What is going on here?" All of the sudden, he hears Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma sing a birthday song for Scooby.

Mr. Rogers gives him a bone-like cake and says, "Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo". Before scooby eats it, the music rises. Shaggy got scared when his house turns into a show stage and man in a white suit and a black bow tie appears and Mystery Inc. said, “Who are you?!” The man said, “I am Neil Patrick Harris, and I’ve transformed your house into a show because since it's Scooby Doo's birthday, I will sing a musical number about Mystery Inc..” After that, the mystery gang sits on a blue couch and talk to Neil Patrick Harris about the mysteries they’ve solved, funny moments and scary moments of their own, villains and their motives, traps, and what the gang looked like throughout the years.
