The Race of the Speed Demon is ,the Third episode in ,the first season of Scooby-Doo! Mysterious Mysteries.
Premise[]
The Gang visits a Race Track, when a ghostly Racer named ,the Speed Demon shows up ,and is attacking racers!
Synopsis[]
The racer Brock is about to win the race, when a the Ghost of Carl shows up and said "I'm the ghost of Carl but now I'm Speed Demon!!!!". The gang gets to the Race Championships. Soon Shaggy runs up to the snack booth owner Nake Rogers. Nake Gives Shaggy and Scooby Cotton Candy. Fred, Daphne, and Velma told Shaggy and Scooby the race has started. Fred gets in his race car and drives away. Soon the Speed Demon Drives out in to Fred, "Leave this place at once Leave!" then the Speed Demon picks up Fred's car and smashes it. Then He disappeared, Fred was laying on the ground with a broken leg, James Nutmen runs over to Fred and asks him if his OK Fred says "No".
The gang splits up. Scooby and Shaggy find a clue a Red Cloth. They run to the rest of The Gang and show it to them. Velma says to look for more clues. Fred, Daphne, and Velma fine a clue a snack booth owner badge. Soon the gang bumps into each other and sees a closet. The gang opens it to find the Speed Demon. The chase starts Scooby and Shaggy run left, Fred, Daphne and Velma run right the Speed Demon runs left, and chases Scooby and Shaggy into a car museum.
Soon all of the gang meet in The Malt Shop they say the culprit is Nake Rogers. Fred sets a trap. Soon the Speed Demon runs in and Fred throws a net.
The mask was pulled off to reveal James Nutmen! He wanted to scare all the racing champions racers off so he would win, the race.
